Welcome to the West Virginia Mothers and Babies Program, a specialized initiative designed to support Pregnancy Help Organizations (PHOs) through House Bill 2002. Our program focuses on offering reimbursement for services provided to expectant mothers, ensuring that these organizations have the necessary resources to assist families throughout West Virginia. We are dedicated to empowering PHOs with financial support, enabling them to deliver critical care and assistance to mothers and their newborns. Here, you will find comprehensive information on how to enroll in our program, understand the reimbursement process, and access a variety of resources aimed at enhancing the services you provide. Our mission is to strengthen the network of support for mothers and babies, by ensuring that the organizations dedicated to their care have the backing they need to succeed.

Dear Pregnancy Help Organizations (PHOs)

An open letter from the WVPCC Director, Jenny Entsminger.

The West Virginia Pregnancy Center Coalition, Inc. has been selected to serve as the management agency to oversee the $3,000,000 in funds Governor Justice has authorized to support the newly created West Virginia Mothers and Babies Support Program. We are grateful for the phenomenal interest that has already been shown for this program!

This money has been granted to strengthen and support pregnancy help organizations like yours in serving mothers and babies. This is a “fee for services” program that allows participating organizations to request and receive reimbursement for the services and material support provided to your clients. Please look over our FAQ page that explains more about how this program works and how your organization may participate. Our goal is to make the process for applying and receiving funds as simple as possible for all participating organizations.

In these challenging economic times, we hope these funds will strengthen and advance your services to provide additional support to the mothers and babies in West Virginia! I invite you to contact me or our Program Director, Kristen Fry, if you have questions.
